Download option not working in AMP version

  • Recently I have enabled amp (Accelerated mobile pages) for my WordPress site. Everything is working fine except that the download button is not working.

    In non-amp version, when i click download:

    auhippo.com/2017/06/14/ma2112-mathematics-nov-dec-2015-reg-2009/
    is redirected to :

    auhippo.com/2017/06/14/ma2112-mathematics-nov-dec-2015-reg-2009/#
    and the file is getting downloaded.

    In amp version when i click:

    auhippo.com/2017/06/14/ma2112-mathematics-nov-dec-2015-reg-2009/amp
    it is directed to:

    auhippo.com/2017/06/14/ma2112-mathematics-nov-dec-2015-reg-2009/amp/#
    which is not a valid download URL.

    I just want to redirect:

    auhippo.com/2017/06/14/ma2112-mathematics-nov-dec-2015-reg-2009/amp/#
    to:

    auhippo.com/2017/06/14/ma2112-mathematics-nov-dec-2015-reg-2009/#
    to make the download link work.
