Download packing slips in the language of the customer

    Hi!

    Thanks a lot for your awsome plugin!

    I am using WPML. The main language of my site is English, and it is already translated to Catalan and Spanish. Also the invoices are paking slips are translated and work perfectly when I send the invoices automatically to the customers.

    Howevewr, I want to download the invoices and packing slips manually from the backend. The question is: How can I download the packing lists and the invoices in the language selected by the customer. So, it can be English, Spanish or Catalan. Now, I cannot only download them in English, as it is the main language of the site. I need it in their language, as I want to add them to their order.

    Hello Alba,
    For full WPML support you need the Professional extension.
    This will make sure the invoice is always in the language of the customer and also make translating several settings fields much easier.

    Hi Ewout!

    Will my requirement be possible if I buy the PRO version? Or this feature is not available? Do you understand my question? I have already been able to generate the documents in the desired language (when sending them automatically), the only think I need is to be able to download manually with the desired language, the language of the customer.

    Yes I understand the question ??
    The answer is yes, when you manually download the invoice it will always be in the language of the customer, regardless of the language of your admin (you can also override this with a setting to make sure it’s always in a specific language but I think that’s not what you need).
    The Professional extension contains many functions that make sure the appropriate language is always used in the invoice.

    in my opinion, this should be fixed for free users too. this is a language barrier problem. Users should be capable of seeing their receipt in the own native language.

    This bug affects the download of the receipt it the admin side. just missing a language selector or a way to get it done with WPML.

    If I change my admin language it changes the language of the admin download of the receipt. would be nice to have a way to download the receipt in all the language needed.

    Hi! The free version can only exist with the Pro version (maintaining and supporting a plugin that is used on 90.000+ sites is a lot of work), we consider WPML support as a pro feature because WPML often requires more support (being more complex by nature) and is itself a premium plugin. I hope you understand!
