Hi, I have a question, when I go to create a tax report within the analyzed data, and I press the button to download it, it tells me that it is sent to me by email, but to which email is it sent? Because nothing arrives at what I have set as the standard for receiving emails from woocommerce… thanks

    Hello @studio99,

Thank you for reaching out to WooCommerce support.

To better understand the issue, could you please share the steps to reproduce this on my test website or provide a screenshot of the page where you see the download button for the tax report? This will help me investigate further.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for the response.

I attached the screenshot with the steps.

Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further @studio99 .

it tells me that it is sent to me by email, but to which email is it sent?

The email address attached to your WordPress account.

I’ll go ahead with linking to the related documentation here, for reference.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.

    Hi, thanks for your response.

I read the documentation and it says “If your selected date range results in a data set that spans more than one page in the table, your CSV download will be processed as a background job by WooCommerce. Once the data is ready to be downloaded, an email will be sent to the address that is attached to your WordPress account with a link to download the file.”

In my case there are only 4 data, so it should let me download the csv directly, but instead it tells me that an email will be sent to me, which is never sent… I tried to download the sales report and it works correctly, I tried to have the site send other emails to see if it was a sending problem and everything works correctly, it only creates this problem for me with tax reports…

    Hi @studio99,

Thanks for the additional details. I have tested this on my site and I can confirm the same behavior, the taxes report isn’t being emailed to me (whereas the revenues report, for instance, is).

I was about to report this on but I’ve found that this has been reported already here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/48841, so I’m adding your case to the report. This is to let you know that this is indeed an issue, and our developers are aware of this issue already!

You can follow the Github to stay up to date with any details.

I hope this helps so far.

    Hi there ?? ,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved for now. I just wanted to take the opportunity to update you before doing that: the good news is that this seems to be ready to go in WooCommerce 9.2?as per this PR! Feel free to start a new thread or reply back if you have any more questions.

    All the best,
    Omar
