Download Titles erased with deactivate/activate

    Hi,

    This is a great plugin and sure wish there was still support. Haven’t been able to find anything comparable and would be happy to buy a version if available.

    From time to time something strange happens and Download links lead to Page Not Found. It appears to be a caching problem but after 6 months have never been able to track down the culprit.

    However – Deactivating, and Reactivating Delightful Downloads fixes the problem (or resets the cache problem).

    The problem with this is that DD usese “Download” as the default text, which can be overridden when creating a new download link.

    But, after deactivate/reactivating the plugin it reverts to “Download” again.

    The editor does not allow/support overriding the default text, so the only work around I could find is to delete the download entry and re-create it.

    Might anyone know of a better solution?

    I had forgotten how easy it was to remedy this.

    put the %title% code in the shortcodes Default Text field.

    This is such a great tool!

    Just sent a thank you donation to the developer.
