Download video instead of play

    Hi there

    This plugin work correctly for videos in library (Self host) but when I select Embed and insert URL in this field, Video does not show and play in thumbnail. The video is being downloaded.

    I upload video in my server and url is: https://file.mydomain.com/…. So it mean I did not use Youtube, Vimeo & Dailymotion.

    Embed videos are only supported from Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion. Not from other providers such as you are using in this case “file.mydomain.com”.

    Either self-host the video, or upload it on one of the supported providers.

    Could you please add a feature for embed videos from specific url such as “file.mydomain.com” ?

    @ehsanfotoo Unfortunately, that’s not an easy to maintain feature plus the site also needs to support embedding exclusively. Though I’ll still consider it for the future.
