Downloadable Products

Hi,
If it isn’t already possible, please could you make it possible to link to downloadable files rather than having to upload them via WordPress?
I’m dealing with some large files which are causing problems and can’t be uploaded. I could upload them via FTP, but then I can’t link to them from TCP.
