    Hi there,

We use Woo Subscriptions on our website. And the orders are stuck on the “Processing” status.

In order to fix this we need to use Virtual + Downloadable checkmarks.

But when we do that the product shows as non subscription.

Can we somehow tweak your plugin so if only the Virtual checkmark is active then change the status to “Complete” not the “Processing”?

    Thanks

    Hi @prettyboyelias,

Can you please clarify what you mean by this?:

But when we do that the product shows as non subscription.

I don’t see what the one has to do with the other.
    Thanks!

Usually, only products marked virtual+downloadable should automatically be set to completed. The integration may provide some hooks in the future to modify the order status mapping, but that’s not available for now. It is still possible to change, but required advanced knowledge.
A bit easier would be to just change the behavior with a filter similar to this though.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Thanks for bringing it up. As a result of this question, we made some tests and found a small issue that could sometimes already cause the order for virtual subscription products to move to “Completed” status. But as you explained how it works for you, the “Processing” status is the intended status for orders with virtual products.

The linked filter should help to consistently apply this behavior across all payment gateways. But let us know if any questions remain.
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
