Downloadable WP URL that expires after purchase

For some reason I’m unable to set my WordPress pages as a download link in the WooCommerce downloads. How can I provide a link to a private WordPress page after the user makes a purchase in WooCommerce? I’ve been able to setup a link in the purchase notes however the problem is after purchases the user can simply revisit the same link and it will never expire. I want the page or atleast the content on the page to only be visible/usable once until a second purchase.
Basically I need to limit the user from clicking a button repeatedly on the private page in question. Thanks for any advice, I’m not sure if I’m just linking to the URL and seeing errors or if I just need another plugin to make this setup work.
