Downloadable XLSX/CSV not working anymore?

  • I have been using this feature for quite some time and it always worked great. But now I can not open the downloaded XLSX or CSV. It says “Excel cannot open the file “..” because the file format extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file.

    Anybody know how to get the files runnings?

    Side note: I tried it on different MS Excel versions and also on PC and Mac, but getting the same error.

    Found a way to preview the Excel content and this is the first entry:
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /ww/htdocs/…..

    This happens even if I just try to get a table of the downloads of one day which are just about 2.000. If I change the days or weeks the allowed memory size is still the same. It seem it tries to get all the entries first and then delete the ones not needed?

    How can I get just the table for the week/month?
