downloaded, but cannot find where to open wordpress

  • I use hostgator and was instructed to download wordpress. I followed the download instr. but what I found on my computer is studiopress – is that the same thing?

  • Nope that’s not the same thing, maybe you downloaded that as well. you’re looking for a file named latest.zip usually, you’ll have to unzip that and upload it to hostgator with your ftp program.

    But maybe hostgator has automatic wordpress installation that could save you some time.
