According to everything I’ve read, I should be able to find WP-starter in the Appearance section under Themes, I see the standard ones, and WP-Forge, but not starter.

Can someone direct me on how to activate Starter on my site, for as long as it’s taking me to find it, I could have setup my own -child by now!

    Thanks!
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

I apologize for any confusion. I don’t recall anything anywhere stating that you can find WP-Starter under appearance after installing WP-Forge.

You have to download WP-Starter then upload it just like WP-Forge. Once installed you have to activate it. You can download WP-Starter here:

    Again sorry for any confusion.

So, I downloaded it using the link you provided. but got this message when I uploaded the .zip:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.

    ideas?

I just checked the zip file and it contains the style sheet.

How about you unzip the theme to the theme folder and then activate it.
