    Hi There

I love your plugin. It works great, and seems to work well. However, I, like a few others who have posted here seem to be having problems with the download=false shortcode. The ones for full screen and print seem to be working fine, but the Download button is still visible and working in the right side tools menu. Below is the complete line of code I entered on the page:

    [pdfjs-viewer url=https://models.cno-nz.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/pdf/Contact_May_1943-sm.pdf viewer_width=600px viewer_height=700px fullscreen=false download=false print=false]

I am using WordPress 3.8, and have tested this in Firefox and Chrome, and both are showing the download button in the tools menu.

Would you have any further ideas on how I can prevent the downloads button from showing?

    Many thanks

    Rob

  • The way it worked for me is that once you save the code, it does not work. So place the code, put false and then save the post, after that, editing of the short code does not seem to work. At least that is what is happening to me. Deleting that does not work either.

    Hi Telesmana

That was exactly how I did it, and it did not work.

    Thanks for the info.

Ok, I did try in my install and always the same. Once I save the post, editing the short code in pointless, but setting it from the start does the trick. I guess the developer will have to help you.

I’ve figured out the issue. The shortcode only hides the download button if the viewer is wide enough that the download button appears in the top bar, not the drop down menu.

The quick fix would be to make the viewer wider, but I realize this is far from ideal. Hopefully I can get around to fixing this bug in the future!

    Hi FalconerWeb

Thanks for the info, and for taking the time to look into this.

With this being the case, is there a way to remove the right hand tools menu al together?

    Thanks again
