Downloading error with Chrome/Safari, but Firefox is ok

I’m testing Download Monitor. Thank you so much.
I uploaded a 150 Mb file via FTP.
Downloading works ok with Firefox, but downloading of same file stops after 20 to 50 Mb with Chrome and Safari. A “The file is damaged” message is shown, but obviously it is not, since it is downloadable with Firefox.
