Downloading Reviews

When you click the Google Result link, it should take you to the page that Google is actually returning in their Places API. If you already have all the reviews on that page on the Review List page of the plugin, it isn’t going to add any more. Unfortunately, Google only returns the 5 Most Helpful (not newest) reviews. It’s a limitation of their API.

The Pro version is integrated with a 3rd party service that can grab all the reviews.

thanks for the response. It does not matter how many times I click on download reviews the reply is always one review downloaded, but it never does.

Previously if there were no reviews it would say no reviews found.

Can you post a link to your reviews on Google? I’ll test it.

I have one more question, can the date format on the reviews be changed to DD/MM/YYYY.

Have found your answer to change date format, and have managed to change it.

It seems to be working fine when I test your location. I would try de-activating and re-activating the plugin.

When you click the “Google Result” link and it brings up the page with the results from the Google API. Look at the reviews and see if there is one on that page is not being downloaded and add to the Review List page in the plugin.

Have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, nothing changes.

In the google result list I notice that the reviews from Jason Smith and Chris Rodgers are in the list but not showing in the downloaded list. I do not understand how to add a review from the results list, could you please explain.

The pitch size was fantastic we had room for our tent, the car, a gazebo and still room for the kids to run around and have fun. The staff on our arrival were very friendly and directed us straight to our pitch without any fuss. The shower/toilet block is a nice size and was very clean, there was also a big area for dishwashing etc. There was a couple of decent parks that our kids enjoyed along with an all weather football pitch. We also took a wonder up the hill to see the animals although at night there was enough rabbits wandering the site anyway and they really weren’t bothered about us as they came right up to our tent. The shop on site is a decent size and well stocked without being over priced. Although you are not that far from the main road it is very quite on the site and a lovely place to be. All in all we had a fantastic weekend and hopefully we will revisit again this year. Thank you for a brilliant weekend ??”,
