downloading themes

  • It seems to me I cannot download themes for my website. I have tried using other computers to do it. seems like I always get an error. I have tried downloading it before, but for some reasons it doesn’t work anymore. can somebody explain??

    What do you mean download? Or do you mean upload? Better question is where are you ‘downloading’ themes from?

    When you log in to wordpress. on the left side there is an appearance tab. I then click that to go into the theme tab. on top you will see install themes.

    It is more like installing a theme is the problem. I try to click on the newest tab or the recently updated tab and all I get is this “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    There is some Bug in latest WP.. some times, i am trying to install theme from my wordpress admin area, downloading stucked on

    “Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/google-analyticator.zip…“

    But on plugin list i am able to see the Inactive same plugin. same case for Themes.

    You do not worry.. you can see your downloded theme in your admin area.. by following link (after login)

    Seems I’m not the only one having problems ‘downloading” or “installing” a theme. Eclipse is the theme I downloaded. But now I don’t know what to do. Can someone please help me too?

    Is WordPress the only place to develop blog? I would like someplace that actually has support.

    WordPress is free software – and we provide limited FREE help on these forums (no one helping out here is paid). If you want more help, consider hiring someone:

    I love the Pinboard theme, but I don’t know how to downloaded it to my WordPress blog. Can someone help me?

    Is your site, by chance, on WordPress.COM? If so, you’re in the wrong forums and you cannot use themes other places on your site there.
