    Hello, good day, we are using your plugin to create forms and download some technical sheets… but… the download does not work… it sends the email without problem, it shows the link but it does not download, we are new to this… I don’t know if we are doing wrong… I send you the codes, and screenshots.

    Thank you for reaching out and providing the above information. We will look into this issue you are experiencing. In the email before download settings could you please share with us the setting you have selected for “Default Link Expiration Time”?

    Thank you for that. After investigation, it seems the issue is coming from your site being hosted on HTTPS while the link generated is read from HTTP. If you check in you WP site settings this should be fixable there.

    Hello… I made the change and it worked perfectly… one last question how can I put a text before the link or make it look like a button… something like download file… to make it look better.

    Hi @adrimol84,

    If you are familiar with HTML and CSS you can use the Custom CSS, HTML Before Link, and HTML After Link options in the Email Before Download Settings. Also, there is a sample in the Support Screenshots located at the bottom of this page:

    I am having the same issue. Can you advise me where to look in my wordpress setup to fix the HTTPS problem?

    Hi @mpolhemus,

    Would you be able to open a new thread and detail the exact issue you are experiencing? WordPress Address URL and Site Address URL in general settings contain HTTPS and not HTTP. In your new post could you also provide the following in case the HTTP/HTTPS solution does not work for you?

    1. Shortcode and a URL showing the WordPress Download Monitor working successfully
    2. Shortcode and a URL showing the Contact Form 7 working successfully
    3. Shortcode and a URL showing the Email Before Download failing
