    I have an ongoing issue that started recently. There seems to only be a problem with downloads.

    A new customer registers and the first thing I notice is that their name is not showing, but rather an H4 tag shows. This occurs in the front end when they’re logged in and the backend.

    Once their order is approved (Completed), the downloads should show under the Downloads link in their account, but they do not. Instead, it reads “No downloads available yet.”

    I’ve read quite a bit about this type of problem, but I’m at a loss. Everything I read says it is a permissions issue with the WC tables. Prior to a couple of weeks ago, there were no issues with downloads.

    I am able to create downloads for existing accounts created a while back and have the new download accessible. I did look through the error log file this morning, but couldn’t see anything that would help me.

    Not sure where to turn.

    Any help as you know is greatly appreciated.

    Update:

    I thought perhaps the problem was with the downloads table (wacms_woocommerce_downloadable_product_permissions), however, the data is being written correctly; it just does not show up under the Download link. Instead, the message “No downloads available yet.” Older customers can order and retrieve downloads without problems. After the last WooCommerce update to 3.5.1 is when the issue began.

    Others resolves that failed…

    Reloaded latest WP and WooCommerce.
    Disengaged all plugins and only opened WooCommerce
    Changed themes
    Recreated the live site on a WAMP stack and still, the same problem exists.

    Any additional thoughts are greatly appreciated.

    I’m afraid bumping the thread doesn’t help to bring it back to the top of the list. We try our best to get to all threads here in the forums, but it can take time.

    Prior to a couple of weeks ago, there were no issues with downloads.

    There are always different issues with downloads around. ?? We troubleshoot each issue separately.

    I tried to reproduce this on my own site, but new accounts worked just fine. The next step here would be to log into your account to see what’s happening, but that’s beyond the scope of support we can offer on the forums.
