Downloads not found

Hi –

We have a problem with EDD finding and delivering a download. We’ve verified the file(s) are in the correct directory on the server, but when a customer is redirected to a download, the site sends them to a 404 index page.

	<li>File was uploaded correctly and exists at that location</li>
	<li>We carefully read a related support thread here without solving this (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/download-file-not-found-after-purchase-completes/)</li>
	<li>We've tried turning off the usually suspected plugins (cache, redirection, security... anything affecting .htaccess).  No luck.</li>
	<li>tried dumping .htaccess code... no joy </li>
	<li>We've checked the Debug Log at /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=download&page=edd-tools&tab=debug_log <-- no help </li>

Stumped. Your help will be appreciated.
