• Hi!

I am new to WordPress, so my knowlegde is not quiet good yet.
I’m having problems to access in my Dashboard the “Downloads” section. Everytime that I click the page doesn’t load and a error 503 shows up.
What can I do to gain access to that part again? Is is possible to solve this not having to apeal to Filezilla and alike? Is it possible to add another “Downloads” section?

I’m using the 3.2.1 version because I’m afrad to update the WP and it mess up with my configs. By the way, can I update my WP version and not lose my configs?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

And, yes, you really do need to upgrade WordPress asap if you wish to reduce the (currently quite significant) risk of being hacked. As you have such an old version of WordPress, you will need to carry out a series of smaller manual upgrades. See Upgrading_WordPress_Extended for the full details.

None of your site’s content or settings should be lost.

TY very much for your answer.

I fear that I’m unable to perform such task…

I’m sorry but there’s nothing we can do at this end to help. If you cannot manage this yourself, you may want to consider hiring someone to carry out the work for you.
