DQWA is removing all formatting in the front end.

    Hi

    After the recent update to 1.4.3.3, all formatting is being removed. Cannot add linefeed, paragraphs, list or anything.

    Tried to remove the editor using css, but that did not work either.

    DQWA is excellent otherwise, but this is a serious problem.

    Any solution to this? Additionally to removing formatting, the plugin removes all new line characters once you post questions.

    Its a great plugin, aside from these 2 bugs!

    Any chance this will be fixed anytime soon? Just preventing the removal of newlines would be great to at least make the plugin usable…

    Unfortunately. not response yet.

    Don’t really need any fancy editing. Just an option to use a comment box would be enough.

    I have the same problem.

    Same problem. It’s stripping out all html tags and line breaks. Please fix.

    Any time frame on the update? Would it be days or months?

    The answers on my website currently look very unprofessional. Several lines jumbled into a single paragraph.

    Maybe you can give us a fix to just remove the editor and use the plain text edit function used in comments.

    Yeah, same here with v1.4.3.3. And it’s even more odd given the frontend editor displays the whole formatting toolset, which leads us to believe it would keep formatting intact.

    Also, as ravink commented, it is jumbling everything into one long paragraph.

    The only solution for now is to edit the answers through the backend.

    It is quite embarrassing to use DQWA, but I cannot shut it down as there is a number of older questions and answers.

    I tried editing the answers through the backend, but could not find anyway to do it. Is it possible?

    Anyone found a solution or a quick fix?

    Have no idea how long DW will take to do anything.

    The irony is that even this forum allows editing

    Figured out how to edit the answers.

    If anyone is looking for the solution.

    Go to Answers under DQWA and click edit on the individual answer.
