• I created a post last night and tried to save it as “Draft.” However, the Draft tab was missing as well as the “Publish” tab. How do I get these back?

  • Check “Screen Options” at the upper right.

If it is now showing then this may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thanks Mateus Getulio Vieira for the suggestions. I tried your comments with no success. I still have no Draft or Publish Tab as well as all the information that was below the tabs. By the way, WordPress automatically save my post but also published it. I was not ready for the post to be published. I’m at a complete loss what to do!
