Draft posts showing up on live site. ACK!

  • Anyone know why draft posts are suddenly showing up on the live wordpress site? They’re showing up on the homepage when I click “Load More” at the bottom of the page at https://www.nubry.com – and it’s showing thumbnails of draft posts…when I click on them, I get a 404, but still, this is no good ??

    I’ve NEVER seen this happen, I had no idea it was possible. I don’t think it’s the theme itself, it might be wordpress..ugh, I dont know. I’ve tried reaching out to the theme devs a few times about other things and they have never responded, so I’d rather ask here about this one…

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    whew, im scared to try it – this site has 30 plugins active :/ I dont want to break anything

    I guess I’d better though, lol

    Well, none of that worked. It may be a theme issue, but when I go back to the default 2014 or 2012 themes, the homepages are absolutely empty
