Draft products are shown in the results

Hi,

It seems like this might be a bug with WooCommerce, I’m not sure. Basically changing a product status to ‘draft’ does not change the product variation statuses, they stay published.

I’ve raised a bug report, I’m curious how they will respond, and if this is intended, or indeed an issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/15812

Based on their response I might have to adjust the plugin code, or they will have to fix that.

Okey, i have something that it may help you.

I had set to Search in custom post types for products and for variations (because i wanted to have search for variation sku).

Now i removed it, and works almost fine. It doesn’t show the variables that are draft, but also it doesn’t have as results the variations. Maybe this can be resolved in a future update.

Just want to let you know, that a new version is out with a possible fix to this problem. Hopefully, if the parent product is set to draft, the variations should not show up either from now on.
