Draft Saving or publishing taking hours

    While finishing writing my post, whenever I save my draft, it takes a very long time (like 4-5 hours) and only then I manage to publish. I have no idea what I can do with it. Please help me, because even for a minor change I have to wait for long hours.

    My first blog was around 1200 words. Now when I tried with second blog and even with 50 words, it is taking same time in hours. Please help me in getting rid of this.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Dear James,
    Thanks a lot for your timely help and support.
    The problem of saving and publishing has vanished after following your suggestions.

    I removed all the plugins and themes installed only default theme and problem solved imediately.
    However, I also lost the previous editor and I am not comfortable with present editor.
    I installed Mashshare plugin to display social media share counts. It is only showing FB counts and not Twitter counts.
    But, I think for this the questions has to asked at some other forums. Thanks anyway for your help and useful suggestions

    I installed Mashshare plugin to display social media share counts. It is only showing FB counts and not Twitter counts.

    I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/mashsharer/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    What plugin were you using for that?
    I was using Classic Editor + Block Editor Full Screen Mode Control

    For Mashshare issue I would surely consider your suggestion

    Dear James,

    Seems like everything is working fine now. I didn’t install it when I write the previous message.

    But before writing this message I have installed Classic Editor plugin and it is working fine now.
