I use WP 2.7.1 and TinyMe Editor.

I recently started to work at a new article where I used a big table and some images and few text. After I saved that Draft, I noticed that everything was gone. But in the Revision area the article-s code was there.

If I copy-paste it in the HTML area, the whole article is showing correctly, but when I save again, another vanishing!

I even disabled my editor, and I did not installed any plugin…

Is this a bug when using tables?

  • TinyMe Editor? Or TinyMCE Editor?

You said that you pasted in a big table. Where did you copy the table from?

    I use TinyMCE Advanced editor.
    – until now, I didnt use tables in my articles.

    – the table was created by me and contains a column with text and a column with lots of pictures with captions (about 500).

So you built the table within TinyMCE, yes? That should work. 500 images is an awful lot of graphics though. Unless of course they’re very small (icon sized). I did come across a problem a few days ago where I felt that the sheer number of images in a page was causing problems in some browsers.

Could you start by creating a table with, say, 10 images in it, publish the post and then drop the url for that post in here?

Hmm.. I dont understand what happened. Let me tell you:

    – I create another empty article, create another table, and started to cut text and images from the tricky draft I wrote above into this new one.

    – after some cuts and paste, I tried to save the tricky draft, and surprise, it is Saved and Readable. And the new article too.

    – I think my problem is solved because I see everything is going right.

    – I put those pictures because is a wish list of mine with paintings I like.

    Thank you!

Glad to hear that everything is working OK now – even if you didn’t manage to find out the cause. I was interested especially in whether you had posted any content in from Word – with or without using the “Paste from Word” button. I’ve seen content pasted in from Word do some pretty dire things before now.

Some of my text was copied from another website (details for paintings). It is possible that that text to be the problem… :p

Aha! That could well be the problem!
