Drag-and-drop update/recorder not saving

I can drag and drop the individual items, but upon saving it’s not saving the changes.
The issue is under Highlighted Projects. It was working correctly when there were only 22 projects, but since adding 2 more it’s not working when saving the changes (order change).

It is a custom WordPress template (I didn’t create it).
