Drag and Drop User Interface

  • Dear Plugin Author,
    is there any kind of drag and drop UI planned in the near future?
    Or do you know an Addon for CF7 that will do this job?
    We all really love CF7 but the way forms are built is not state of the art.
    There are several problems involved, eg. if you want to create a two column layout or a client (without HTML knowledge) wants to edit a form.

    Contact Form 7 Skins now includes a drag and drop user interface for building CF7 forms.

    We cover creating a two column layout in CF7, without HTML knowledge, in our CF7 Skins Ready Add-on.

    CF7 Skins is really nice, but we are looking for something thats 100% Open Source.

    Contact Form 7 Skins is “100% open source” – it’s GPL & listed in the WordPress plugin directory.

    Our React based drag & drop editor is included entirely within Contact Form 7 Skins.

    We do add some specific additional functionality to the drag & drop interface, like creating a two column layout in CF7, without HTML knowledge, in our Add-ons.

    But the full functionality of CF7 is replicated entirely in the CF7 Skins drag & drop editor.

    Basically whatever you can currently do by adding HTML in the CF7 Form tab you can now also do via the CF7 Skins based drag & drop editor.

    Our intention is to add the possibility of using a drag & drop editor to all CF7 forms for any CF7 users that prefer a drag & drop interface.

    We’ve also been careful to ensure that we operate as a supplement to existing CF7 features.

    For example you can create a form using the CF7 Skins drag & drop editor & then tweak the form in the traditional CF7 Form tab editor.

    I have explained myself wrong.
    I meant we are looking for a plugin where everything is included in the free version.

    I will take a more detailed look on CF7 skins.
