Drag/Drop and sort categories does not work

    Hi

    Drag & drop – sort categories order does not work.

    I have a set of categories, all with descriptive text. When i click drag handle on the right hand side, the selected category does “float” but the category view (rear) only displays content by one character per line.

    Needless to say it is almost impossible to reorder.

    Help appreciated. Thanks

    Update

    the following worked for me

    1. Products > Categories: select screen options
    2. Uncheck description
    3. Create desired order of categories
    4. In Widget>Shop: set order by category order.
