Draw a perfect circle hotspot?

    Is there a tool I’m missing to draw a circle? I want to create hotspots on the image that are circles, like markers on a map. I’ve checked the option to make the hotspot visible all the time, but it seems my only option is to draw a rough geometric shape. I tried just adding a single dot, rather than connecting multiple dots to create a shape, but the single mark is too small. Is there a way to do this?

    We have plans in the works to replace the drawing tool so that there will be more options, like circles and rectangles/squares, but currently, the drawing tool can only create polygons. You can make those appear smoother by adding more points on the polygon, but it’s not possible to get to perfect circles. Please let us know if you need more help with this.

    Thanks Natalie. Any chance you have an ETA on this addition? (Like, 3 months, 6 months…?) Trying to decide whether I need to switch to a different plugin or if I can wait it out. I like this plugin better than the others, otherwise!

    I don’t have an exact ETA – we’re currently working really hard on a big new feature for another plugin and we’re not exactly sure when we’ll get that finished up and have some time free to make this big change to Draw Attention. The best estimate I can give right now is sometime in the next six months. Hopefully that works for you.

    This seems like a hugely basic requirement for a tool like this. In even the most basic free versions of other tools, they have a box, circle and polygon tools.

    Your tool is better, but we really need a box and circle tool.

    Thank you for your feedback! This is definitely still in our plans, but we still don’t yet have an exact ETA at this time.
