Dreaded 404 since 3.8 upgrade

    Hello,

    Since upgrading to 3.8 I have noticed some admin actions give me 404 not found errors. These include:

    > Upgrading a plugin
    > Deleting comments
    > Deleting a menu item

    Weirdly, I can do almost everything else (add/edit posts, add/edit pages etc.).

    I have:
    > Disabled all plugins
    > Reverted to original theme
    > Checked .htaccess and permalinks
    > Increased memory allowance
    > Re-uploaded WP-Admin and WP-Includes folders

    Hello lovely people,

    Always the way, I’ve just managed to fix this issue. Its an old plugin (bulletproof security) which had left a .htaccess file in the WP-admin folder. Deleted this and problem solved.
