Drop Cap – Ashe theme

I have turned off the ‘drop cap’ option on the page settings while creating the page as well as in the customize section under ‘Blog Post’ for the theme and it continues to add a drop cap. How can I get this so it is turned off? I don’t like it so I wouldn’t mind it going away forever.
