• So I’m currently implementing a stylish drop cap on each of my blog posts using the following short code: (eg. [dropcap2]M[/dropcap2] ). This works beautifully except for when you run searches.

Say I have a post that starts “The cow jumped over the moon…”. When this post appears in search results, it looks like this:

“he cow jumped over the moon…”

Obviously this is because the search results page doesn’t recognise the drop cap short code so the first letter is just left off altogether.

Can anyone tell me how I go about allowing the drop capped letter to be included on these search result pages?!?!

    Thanks.
