Drop Down Menu

I have been creating drop down menus, without the primary label directing to a page when clicked. I have achieved this by creating custom links when adding to the menu, and placing a hashtag or pound sign in the spot of URL. This is a solution to that problem, but now when it is clicked, it does add a # to the URL. Example… https://www.testing.co/ then when clicked it becomes https://www.testing.co/# … I have tried to see if there was something like a no-click css class that I could add to that menu item but I’m unsure. On the Melos demo site, I saw there were menu buttons that accomplished this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
