Drop Down Menu broken on AMP site!

Hello,

I apologize for the trouble. Unfortunately, The AMP project is discontinued and I would advise you to remove AMP and instead use apply the best caching and optimization practices.

I am not sure of the effect of removing amp on SEO.
It will throw a lot of error on the search console for sure.
So was avoiding removing it.
Moreover the changelog for Oceanwp doesn’t mention anything about AMP… Any idea why?

Sorry but We did not discontinue AMP, so our changelog doesn’t include anything.
Google discontinued support for AMP, As they said it will have no impact on SEO, so you can remove it.

For more info on the effect, you can consult with the SEO plugin developers (of the SEO plugin you’re running on the site).

So if you did not discontinue it, why not look into the issue i have reported?
Since i remember reading here https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/766-how-to-enable-amp-for-oceanwp that all menu styles work fine on desktop!

I have forwarded the problem to the dev team.
However, given the fact that Google no longer supports AMP will it have any positive impact on SEO, you strongly recommend disabling AMP for good. And this tutorial might be helpful.
