Drop Down Menu & hover

I have added some drop down menus to menus items on my website that I created a year ago. Everything seems to be fine except I would like the drop down menu items to be displayed by hovering over the menu item without clicking on the down arrow. The menu items are pages not categories if that matters. Finding examples of how to do drop down menus is easy but fixing the hover part has been difficult. I just upgraded to WordPress version 5.9. I am using a child version of the Twenty Fifteen version 3.1
