I’m having a problem, when I create a drop down menu, the sub links work fine but the main link won’t.

    For example I have:

    Home
    – About
    – Terms

The drop down links work fine but Home won’t work as a link?

    Any ideas?

  • I’m having the same issue. I will be watching this thread.

I’ve created that “parent” page but only the dropdown pages are linked.

    Hey daydreamer87,

    I found the answer HERE!!!

So the code he says to comment out starts around line 83. NOTE: make sure to comment out (or delete) the “}” just below the line of code he says to keep in.

Well. The new problem is that on a mobile device, you have to press the parent once to open the menu, THEN when you press the parent again, it open that parent page.

That is not very intuitive. I’m starting to see the wisdom of NOT having a page for the parent menu item.

Seems now a solution is needed to have the child menu items ALREADY expanded when you open the menu on a mobile device so you won’t have to press it twice to open the page.

    Hi there,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can make the top menu item having sub menu clickable by using the custom plugin solution shared in the following reply.

I have used the above solution with the latest version of Dazzling theme and it worked fine for me.

    Best Regards,
    Movin
