Drop Down Menus

    I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme, when I use one of my own menus it won’t display as drop downs, using the default orders them wrong, how to fix please?

  • For most themes, including twentytwelve, you can set any order you want in the Menu screen:

    OK, so i’ve made a new menu, set it be used. The order is right but no sub-menus will dropdown.

    However if I switch back to the default menu (“” blankly named in this case), this menu has drop down sub-menus (like the “Get Involved” menu above!).

    NB: I can’t see where / how to edit the default menu… The order I added the pages were not in menu order and can’t see how to rearrange the (actually I did put them in in the right order but it’s still generating them maybe alphabetically with Home first)

    The order should be Home, Games, Gallery, then Contact

    The menu can be arranged by drag&drop. Did you try that?

    LOL, the main default menu doesn’t show! I can reorder the menus I add, but when set them to primary then the drop down doesn’t work… HMMMM it seems to recognise the sub-menu now…

    OK many thanks, seems to be working now… (see Games menu)

    * But how to order the default menu?
