    I’m not quite sure I fully understand your question…are you wanting to know how to make a submenu (drop down menu) ?

    Hi again if you could please look at my other word press website and you click on one of the sub menus you will see that the image move down and the text apeer https://www.africanmemory.com/#
    unlike on my https://2modernize.co.za/about-us where the text comes up under the photo

    Thanks for the other link…now I understand.
    That appears to be a special script that is used in conjunction with a menu.

    To do that on a different theme other than what your other site has, you need that kind of script added, or a plugin (if one exists). If you really want that kind of functionality, you will need that script which hides and shows content with a slide-down effect, then code that into the theme. If you can extract that from the theme you showed me and then code that in, you could probably get that to work. But please note, you will need to be very comfortable with modifying and customizing code to do this.
