Drop Down menus don’t work in Microsoft Edge

Drop Down menus don’t work in Microsoft Edge for this theme.
I think the problem is with css pseudo-selector :focus-within as mentioned in the following post:

And the solution should be the same: “go through the whole style.css file and delete all the selectors that use :focus-within.”, or add code without :focus-within in style.css in a child theme, or replace it with something that is compatible with Microsoft Edge.
Would author of the theme please update it in future release of the theme? Thank you.
