Drop Down Menus Not Working After 5.5

  • I am having the same problem. I contacted mudthemes, because profound is also available in a premium version and i wanted to know, if that one is compatible with 5.5, but they feedback was so far only, that they do not sell any themes. I asked when they will do again and i am waiting for the answer.

    I managed to fix the normal menu by updating the superfish javascript library and tweaking the CSS a bit. However the “responsive” menu (the one you see on mobile devices with smaller screens) does not work yet. Once i repaired that also i can share a little howto in the hope that it helps the few users of that theme…

    By the way: jquery is not part of the theme itself, it is provided by the wordpress core itself. The issues are with the libraries provided by the themes, which work on top of jquery (like the superfish library for example).
