Drop-Down not functioning

I have placed the geotargeting widget on my site and it correctly detects which country I’m in and selects it from the drop-down menu and displays the appropriate content I have specified for that country.

However when I try to select a different country from the drop-down to force it to set my location to somewhere else it does not update the page and display the content specific for the country selected that it should. That is, I change it from New Zealand (my location) to UK and it still displays the text in the geot region shortcode for New Zealand rather than the shortcode for the UK.

Any ideas how I can get this functioning?

The drop-down menu is also not showing the flag icons beside the options. I have disabled my cache plugin.
