    Hi,

After a plugin author messed up his plugin update and made everyone’s WordPress sites crash, I get this drop-down thing in Firefox every time I click the switch users form. It’s the one that shows saved passwords/logins. It’s treating the search form like a login form.

You’d best try reinstalling WordPress and your plugins and clearing your cache. Good luck!

That’s quite frankly terrible advise. Why did you mark it solved? It’s not solved. Are you not interested in learning why it’s behaving like this? ??

You will probably need to look into this because your plugin has the autocomplete enabled and it seems the new Firefox version uses it in your plugin. It’s extremely annoying and it’s really nonchalant to just mark this as solved imo.

This plugin does not provide autocomplete functionality. I think you’re getting your plugins confused.

No I’m not getting it ”confused”. Now you’re being nonchalant again. Are you claiming I’m just making things up? Your plugin has issues with the latest Firefox version as it seems.

I’ll just remove your shitty plugin instead since you’re not interested in providing support. Who knows what other flaws it has. You’re acting like a total douche and your initial response was absurd.

I’ll say it again. This plugin does not provide a drop-down or autocomplete for anything.

Are you using this third party add-on plugin? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/admin-bar-user-switching/

I’ll say it again. This plugin does not provide a drop-down or autocomplete for anything.

So I am just making this up? https://imgur.com/a/RhYJCC6

Not happening with any other plugin. It did happen with the search box plugin, but the author fixed it. Great guy.

Listen to what I am telling you instead of arguing with me. This plugin does not provide a drop-down or autocomplete for anything, including what’s in your screenshot. Whatever is broken on your site is not a feature that this plugin provides.

Take your support request and your insults elsewhere.

Listen to what I am saying instead of just shoving your head in the sand. I know that your plugin does not provide this “feature”. But obviously it triggers this feature in Firefox, can you not see it? Hence it’s not working optimally in Firefox. Your plugin is flawed and you have no interest in fixing it, which is frustrating. Not only that, you come with terrible suggestions, telling me to reinstall WordPress lol.

I cannot make this any more clearer, but I am going to try for a fourth and final time. The dropdown menu of users in your screenshot is not a feature provided by User Switching. You even said it yourself:

I know that your plugin does not provide this “feature”.

I can only assume this dropdown is from your theme or another plugin such as the one I linked above. You are wasting your time trying to convince me that there’s somehow a hidden feature in my own plugin that I don’t know about.

I removed your plugin. It’s broken and it’s flawed. Who knows what other security issues it has. Thanks for nothing.

I must apologize. I confused your plugin with Fast User Switching plugin. Yes, I am an idiot. I admit.

Thank you. I hope you get the problem sorted out.
