• Hi, Starbox used to work on my site just fine but recently I noticed the drop-down theme has stopped working. It displays, but does not dropdown & the console says “jQuery is not defined”.

I tried deactivating all caching etc but the issue still remains.

What I notice is that the Starbox JS scripts are included at the top of the page, whereas jQuery is at the bottom.

I just ran a test & added the code to wp_footer with priority 99 (after jQuery) and it worked fine. For some reason Starbox is loading its code before jQuery? And it also seems to be ignoring WP Rocket’s caching rules.

    Hi @darlay123,

Starbox library loads with jQuery dependency. Could be from WP-Rocket las updates so we will test it again and add a compatibility fix.

Thank you for letting us know about this.

    Best, Calin

Oddly, even after deactivating WP Rocket my scripts (jQuery etc) are still being loaded into the footer, so it’s still not working. I use the GeneratePress theme – but I also use the same theme on other sites & the scripts are loading in the header on those, so I’ve no idea what’s pushing the scripts down to the footer. I can only assume it must, somehow, be GeneratePress that’s doing it.
