Drop Tables / phpMyAdmin
-
I have 3 tables in the db which I (or even WP for that matter) do not use – blacklist, px_feeds, px_comments (I think).
I’ve also for the 1-click backup/restore installed.
So, the question.
If, using phpmyadmin, I highlight those tables and ‘drop’ them, all should be okay should it not ?
I know there is a risk, but I’ve never messed with mysql (or *any* sql) before, and even with having a backup, I just want to be sure that my thinking is correct even if when I do it it screws things up. I know those tables can sit there forever without a problem, but with some hacks needing tables adding, then being slightly more confident about removing any that I don’t want would be good.
Seems stupid asking this, but unless I do, I’ll not know the answer ??
