Thank You, here ist the line:

[02-Dez-2014 17:22:24] WARNUNG: file_put_contents(): Only 4096 of 7169 bytes written, possibly out of free disk space
[02-Dez-2014 17:22:24] FEHLER: Kann Fortschritt nicht in die Arbeitsdatei schreiben. Auftrag wird abgebrochen.

This is not the space on Dropbox this message is the space on your website.
BackWPup needs space to create the backup bevore uploading.

I have doubled the space for the website from 500 to 1000 GB, about 400 GB are used.

Although the provider doubled the space, the problem still occurs.

Don’t know how, but after deleting the backup task and creating it new, the first attempt failed again, but the second attempt worked…

    Interisting, but not reproduceable.

I have the same problem. Did you find any solution?

    Florian,

the solution for this problem was to double the webspace.

I’m still fighting problems (over weeks I had a new error every time I tried to do a backup to Dropbox).

It seems as this could be a Dropbox problem too (or a problem with my internet provider?). Today backups of four sites worked more or less.
