    I just installed the dropbox backup plugin and made test backups to local storage and my dropbox account.

    But I am puzzled by the conflicting messages I am getting. See here :

    On the top it says backup wasn’t created because of MySQL error. But then the table below says successful. What’s up with that ?

    Please assist. Thank you.

  • mine neither. but that’s coz the plugin seems to be in development mode.

    Same with me.

    I seem to be getting the local backup, but nothing is being uploaded to Dropbox. It has been connected because I show a UID number (even though Connect is still active). And, the target folder appears in my Dropbox Apps folder.

    The progress bar has said “Please wait … 86 sec.” for the last two hours. If I happen to navigate away from the Backup page, and come back, the screen lists my backup as successful. I check on the server and indeed it is there. However, it is not on Dropbox.

    Does navigating off the backup page mess up the backup? If so, that is a bit inconvenient.

    It was solved in 1.3.x.x versions.

    Please, update you Dropbox backup and restore plugin up to latest version.
