    made sure php has enough memory

    disabled possible conflicting plugins

    re authenticated dropbox

    removed plugin, re-installed

    tried lots of settings, tar

    tried increasing timeout things.

    i have tried so much – i dont know what to try yet.

    Hi @itrss

    Could you please help us go to the BackWPUp -> Settings, reduce the max execution time to like 20 secs, also in the same section, set the number of retries for job steps to 10.

    After that, try again.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out. A few users have resolved this issue by following these steps:

    1. Go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Jobs tab.
    2. Lower the Maximum Script Execution Time to around 20 seconds.
    3. Set the Maximum number of retries for job steps to 10.
    4. Save the settings and try running the backup job again.

    If the issue persists, it may be related to the server hosting environment, as it seems the connection to the Dropbox server is timing out. I recommend contacting your hosting support to check for any connection restrictions or blocking that might be causing this problem.

    adding that plugin didnt help, had added a long time ago, tried updating and using newest i could find. nothing.

    trying @saranshwpm suggestion, will report back

    other backup plugins work – but want to use this one. uhg
