Dropcap code breaks excerpts in Twenty Twelve

  • With a standard install of this plugin, calls to the_excerpt when using the Twenty Twelve theme result in full text being displayed. Disabling the plugin, reveals standard summary text display.

    Commenting out the three related hooks to “1.2 Ensure the Dropcap shortcode content is parsed in excerpts” in admin-shortcodes.php also fixes this issue.

    It appears the drop cap filters are breaking things.
