Dropdown box not showing blank placeholder by default

    Hello, I’ve added the checkout fields with the pipe symbols on the left and right of the choices. However, I don’t know why it’s still choosing the first option by deault. Please see the image.

    Inorder to achieve your requirement, you need to make the first option blank and provide placeholder text as shown in the below screen-shot:

    The Option Value is used to store values in the database and Option Text is used to display the details in the drop-down. Please note that the option value should be unique.

    that seems to have worked! I’m assuming they won’t be able to checkout without selecting an option.

    I haven’t tried to place an order because I don’t have a way to do a test order at the moment.
