    Hi Magine,

It sounds like your theme is still applying it’s own functionality to the menu, even though it doesn’t need to any more.

    Please see: https://www.maxmegamenu.com/documentation/faqs/removing-residual-styling/

If that does not work please let me know what theme you’re using. If its freely available I will write up some theme integration instructions for it.

    Hi,

Not sure if it’s residual styling. I think more so the item below the menu is taking preference on rollover … the menu loses it’s focus the minute the cursor moves over that element.

I have checked in the header file and all that is there is the wp_nav_menu array, which is required.

    The theme is Legenda.

    Hi Magine,

Removing residual styling can also remove any JavaScript that the theme applies to the menu, so it’s worth trying.

Legenda is a premium theme so I’m not able to install it here and give you full instructions sorry.

    Hi,

Thanks. But as mentioned, their doesn’t seem to be much residual styling in the header to remove. I’ll see if there is a work-around else I’ll have to revert to using the normal menu again.
